We have a fantastic day planned for anyone considering cross-cultural mission. The day will start at Canonbury Overground Station with a tour of Newington Green, a place linked with Hudson Taylor and China Inland Mission. We will then have lunch together, which will include the opportunity to grill a missionary. No, we won’t be having a missionary for lunch! It will be a chance to ask them what it is really like to serve long term in East Asia. There will be plenty of time to chat and meet others on the same journey of exploring mission. We will also look at Psalm 3 and ask where we find our glory.
There is a suggested donation of £5 to cover the cost of lunch. (We do not want this amount to be a barrier to attending, so please let Allen know if you will need this covered.) Please confirm whether you will join us for lunch by 1 May so we know numbers for catering.
NextGen events gather Christians from across the denominations to open the Bible together, look out into God’s world and explore our place in his plan to share Jesus Christ with the world. We aim to equip the next generation of Christians to live out God’s call on their lives.
